This policy explains what data we collect through www.onionstudio.be, why, for how long, and what your rights are, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.
2. Data we collect
We only collect the following data:

We do not collect any sensitive data (health, origin, political opinions, etc.). The Site has no account creation area and no online payment system.
3. Contact form
When you use the form on the Contact page, the information you enter (first name, last name, email, company, message) is sent to us by email so we can respond to your request. This data passes through our hosting infrastructure (Infomaniak, Switzerland) and is never resold or used for unsolicited commercial purposes.
The form includes technical security measures (invisible anti-spam field, minimum delay before submission, rate limiting) that do not involve any profiling on your part.
4. Audience measurement (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used (pages visited, session duration, traffic origin) and to improve its content. This service sets cookies on your device; the list of cookies and their retention period are detailed in our Cookie Policy.
This data is processed by Google Ireland Limited, which may transfer it to the United States (see section 7).

6. Data recipients
Your data is accessible to the Onion Studio team, as well as to the following technical providers, acting as processors or service providers:
- Infomaniak — website and email hosting
- Google Ireland Limited — audience measurement via Google Analytics
- Adobe — delivery of the fonts used on the Site (Adobe Fonts)
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.
7. Transfers outside the European Union
Some of our providers (Google, Adobe) are established in, or process data in, countries outside the European Union, in particular the United States. These transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or adherence to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where applicable.
8. Data retention
- Contact requests: kept for as long as necessary to handle your request, then archived for a maximum of 3 years for business follow-up purposes, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
- Google Analytics data: retained according to the duration configured in our Google Analytics account.
9. Data security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure: encrypted connection (HTTPS), validation and filtering of data submitted through the contact form, and rate limiting on submission attempts.
10. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data:
- Right of access and rectification
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to object
- Right to data portability
- Right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before that withdrawal
